Webinars VS. Webcasting VS. Teleseminars?
Segovia here with a quick update and a few tips on the latest in web technologies.
You’ve no doubt either heard about or attended either a Webinar or Webcast, but can you explain what the difference between the two is?
Simply put…
A Webinar is something you can logon via your web browser or special client side software application and actually view either a Power Point presentation, and HTML Slide Show or even someone else’s computer screen so you can watch over their shoulder as they work.
On the other hand, a Webcast is where you can either dial into a direct phone or listen online via a live streaming web technology (usually done with Flash Media, Window Media or RealPlayer).
Both are very effective and have their purpose in many different instances.
And finally you have your good old fashion Teleseminar (yah right, that’s old fashion only in Internet years
, either way Teleseminar Marketing is more powerful and more reliable than both.
