Double Your Altitude with Eben Pagan

Friday, November 16th, 2007

The Altitude program not only met all my expectations but over exceeded them far beyond what I could ever hoped to gain from a single event.

I’ve attended over 100+ business marketing events and live seminars in the past 6 years and although many of them were packed with great information, ideas, and strategies, Eben’s Altitude training covered the 20% that almost every other event didn’t even scratch the surface on.

You know the old saying…

You know what you know and you know what you don’t know… but you just don’t know what you don’t know(more…)

Process MapsI want to highlight an incredibly valuable lesson that most people have probably heard of but either never fully grasped the power of, or simply never acted upon these principles to empower their own business.

It’s called “Installing Systems and Infrastructure”

Ask yourself how much time you spend “Working On Your Business” VS. “Working In Your Business“?

Then ask yourself when the last time you sat down and either wrote out, planned, reviewed or created any of the following for yourself, your staff, an employee or an outsourced contractor…

  • Systems
  • Checklists
  • Process Maps
  • Policies
  • Guidelines
  • Instruction Manuals
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Style Guide

Or any other template driven process in your business.

Jim Collins, the author of the amazing book Good To Great has a saying:

“First WHO, then WHAT.”

The answers to some of the most pressing issues most businesses are grasping at straws and trying to solve are hidden within the WHAT.

So I want to you to read the following page very carefully word for word, then as you see each name ask your self…

WHAT is it that this person does for living, WHAT are they responsible for and WHAT could having someone like them on my team do for my business in the next 6 months”.

Double Your AltitudeLast week I outlined a great video and business marketing quiz to check out. I’ve had a tremendous amount of great feedback from people that took the quiz and downloaded the free software that allows you to create your own landing page quizzes.

Well, by now if you haven’t heard of Eban Pegan, the creator of the Altitude program, then I advise you to pay attention to this guy.

He’s young, has an incredibly sharp mind and he’s even making the gurus think twice about how they operate their business and their marketing campaigns.

If you own your own business, chances are you either have employees or you’re hoping to get some soon.
